Written and produced by Gaga, Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow, The song was released worldwide digitally on May 9, 2011 and officially impacts US mainstream radio on May 17, 2011 as the first of two promotional singles before the album's release. Following the success of the song in digital outlets worldwide, it was announced that it would be given a full release.
